The KL6 Horizontal Turning Center’s are in line with our heavy duty “HL” manual series--this range of flat bed CNC lathes has become the industry standard for CNC hollow spindle, oil country lathes. Extremely robust, these models are available with a 22” or 32” bed width, with swings ranging from 37” to 62”, distance between centers from 60” to 236” and bore size from 6” to 21”. Kent CNC offers all models with this full range of spindles, swings and center distance to accommodate all your tough machining requirements. Features include automatically lubricated ways and ball screws to minimize thermal movement. All beds are hardened and ground one-piece Meehanite construction for maximum rigidity, unlike other cheaper brands which utilize a separate base to ease manufacturing costs, often compromising rigidity. The box type laterally ribbed headstock is standard with a four-speed auto programmable gear-box. As with all machines provided by Kent CNC, the KL6 Horizontal Turning Centers are inspected and certified by Kent Industrial USA in Tustin, CA.
