The KLM, KLR and KLS Horizontal Turning Center’s are in line with our Multiplex, Rival and Slugger Series; these ranges of slant bed CNC lathes has become the industry standard for advanced technology, productivity and value to deliver exceptional performance for shops large and small. Extremely rigid, these models are available with 6” to 24” chucks, with swings ranging from 10” to 40”, distance between centers from 12” to 137” and bar capacity from 2” to 8”. The one-piece base and box-way construction provides a low center of gravity thanks to our patented Optimized Mechanical Structure Design (OMSD). Anti-flex, shock-absorbing certified Meehanite is heat-treated, annealed twice and ground to eliminate stress, thermal growth and vibration. All sliding surfaces are hand scraped, oil dimpled and coated with Turcite-B for maintenance free, long-life and slick-stick free operation.

Like all Kent USA machine tools, the Kent CNC machines are loaded with all of the technology as the high dollar Japan imports as well as many new and innovative standard and available features such as Absolute Encoders, ZF Gearbox, choice of Linear Guide or Box Way designs, Fanuc Controls, Motors, Drives & the list goes on. To stay in the front running of the latest technologies Kent CNC offers available benefits such as Two Axis to Nine Axis (2-Axis to 9-Axis) Horizontal Complex Turn/Mill Centers in addition to machines with such features as; Interactive Programming, Sub-Spindle, Live Turret with Full “C” Axis, “Y” Axis, Twin Turret, Big Bore Package, Programmable Tailstock, Smart Chip Evacuation System, Articulated Axis, & Automation Friendly Interface. As with all machines provided by Kent CNC, all Vertical Machining Centers are inspected and certified by Kent Industrial USA in Tustin, CA.
